Introduction

The Neighborhood Youth & Parent Prevention Partnership, Inc. (NYPPP) is Lansing's City-Wide partnership what was originally funded through a grant awarded from Federal Agency, Center for  Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) for the purpose of promoting the prevention of substance abuse on a grassroots level. This original grant was a 5 years demonstration program focused on reducing substance abuse in targeted, high-risk areas of Lansing and increase resiliense on the part of youth and families. Recently, with the ending of this 5 years program, NYPPP was focused on broadening it's focus and increasing it's influence on Inghan County.
