NYPPP's mission is to help the communities prevent alcohol, tobacco and others drugs abuse (ATODA) by assisting neighborhoods in identifying problems and needs, prioriziting issues, and developping plans and prevention activities. The goal is to create positive community change through the reduction of risk factors and harmful bahaviors associated with ATODA. The Partnership, through the development of strategies and plans, will advocate for, and support a network of diverse neighborhood based citizen groups that collaborate to increase resiliency on the part of youth and families.
