NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Welcome!
We invite you to check out our neighborhood. We meet the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in the Cristo Rey Gymnasium on High Street and we welcome new members
We also have a subcommittee that deals with neighborhood issues regarding safety and housing. This group meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at the Lansing Police Department's North Precinct on May Street.
Mission of Northtown Neighborhood Association:
- To encourage Northtown Neighborhood residents to organize and act as a unified cooperative entity
- To educate and empower the residents
- To upgrade the quality of life in the neighborhood
- To work toward a common goal of preserving our current housing stock and decent and affordable housing for all residents
- To improve community services and facilities such as child and youth programs; services for the elderly; beautification of the neighborhood to prevent community deterioration; the promotion of crime prevention; and the fostering of understanding amongst residents of our community
