Hi! Our names are Katelynn and Erika.  We met in May of 2006 through the 4-H Mentoring Program.  Over the past two years, we have gotten together just about once a week.  Some of our favorite things to do together are going to haunted houses at Halloween time, playing laser tag, eating out, talking on the phone, going to see Lugnuts games, taking our dogs for walks, and going to the mall.  As soon as we got matched, we soon realized that our birthdays were one day apart.  For the past two years we have done something special together to celebrate our birthdays.  We get along well because we are both very adventurous and like to try new things.

We want to thank the 4-H Mentoring Program for giving us so many opportunities to try new things.  They got us tickets to Cedar Point, Pistons, Lugnuts, Detroit Children's Museum, Riverwalk Theatre, and many more!  We both feel very lucky to have met each other and we plan to remain friends for many years to come.
