13th Ingham County Horse Committee Meeting 7:00 pm - Hilliard Bldg.
March:
12th Ingham County Horse Committee Meeting 7:00 pm - Hilliard Bldg.
31st Jamboree entries due to County Office
April:
9th Ingham County Horse Committee Meeting 7:00 pm - Hilliard Bldg. Leaders may turn in rider and horse enrollment forms including 3 pictures of their horse (front, left side, right side), current year negative coggins and enrollment form including rider name and section participating in for the current year. Deadline is May 1st.
19th MI 4-H Horse Jamboree
May:
1st DEADLINE: Club leaders must have turned in all rider and horse enrollment forms including 3 pictures of each horse (front, left side, right side), current year negative coggins and enrollment form including rider name and section participating in for the current year. Forms must be in the 4-H Office by 5 pm. No late forms.
* 6th MANDATORY PONY MEASURING for ponies that have not been measured previously or is owned by a new family. Ingham County Fair Grounds 7:30 pm (by the tack store area).

17th International League for the Protection of Horses - MI Show
June:
11th & 12th CLUB LEADERS BRING COMPLETED ACHIEVEMENT DAY FORMS, STATE SHOW DELEGATE FORMS, FAIR FORMS AND CAMPING FORMS TO THE 4-H OFFICE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. (Club leader contact Ginger Kenney-Sweet 517 676-7290)
16th STATE SHOW TEST at Ingham County Fairgrounds in Community Bldg. 7:30 pm only given once. All age groups are welcome to take test. Horses may be brought in for Horse Camp.
17th-19th Horse Camp – riding and clinics
17th EDUCATIONAL GYMKHANA CLINIC. 7:30 pm Ingham County Fairgrounds. Mandatory if you have never attended this clinic before or if horse and rider combination has changed . Horse and rider must attend in order to participate in Gymkhana events at Achievement days or fair. This clinic is optional for those who have attended in prior years.
18th EDUCATIONAL JUMPING CLINIC. 7:30 pm Ingham County Fairgrounds. Mandatory if you have never attended this clinic before or if horse and rider combination has changed. Horse and rider must attend in order to jump at Achievement Days or Fair. This clinic is optional for those who have attended in prior years.
20th -21st Well-Dunn 4-H Open Show - Gymkhana Friday, Open show Saturday
22nd ACHIEVEMENT DAY 1

July:

11th-12th Dansville Wrangler 4-H Open Show - Gymkhana Friday, open show Saturday
18th-19th Leader Show 4-H Open Show - Gymkhana Friday, Open show Saturday
19th Dressage Test for Achievement Day II is in conjunction with the Leaders Show. Contact Maggie Knust (676-9317)
20th ACHIEVEMENT DAY II (State Show delegates announced after show. Delegate, parent of delegate or leader must be present to pick up packet.)
22nd State Show Delegates entry forms and payment due to the County office by 5:00 p.m.
24th Horse Change request deadline
25th FAIR BEGINS FOR HORSES. Bring horse/pony in for Vet check between 3–8 pm. All horses/ponies must go through Vet check before being stalled.
26th FAIR (Horses only) - Dressage and Performance classes.
27th FAIR (Horses only) - Showmanship and Costume. Amanda Awalt Memorial Scholarship Awarded and Senior Ceremony.
28th FAIR (Midway open) – English Pleasure and Western Pleasure.
29th FAIR (Midway open) - English Equitation and Western Horsemanship. Can not leave fairgrounds with horse/pony until the show is over
August:

22nd -24th MI State 4-H Horse Show MSU Pavilion
22nd -23rd Home Schooled Horse Project 4-H Open Horse Show - Gymkhana Friday, Open show Saturday
September:
10th Ingham County Horse Committee meeting 7:00 pm - Hilliard Bldg. Nominations taken for elections of new officers.
October:
1st All Award Forms due in to 4-H office by 5:00 pm (County Medal, State Award, Leader of the year, Friend of 4-H, Baker Clover and Outstanding Horse Member)
8th Ingham County Horse Committee meeting 7:00 pm – Hilliard Bldg. Election of New Officers.
November:
2nd Ingham County Horse Committee Awards Banquet at the Ingham County Fairgrounds Community Bldg. Hosted by __________ 4-H Club.
12th Ingham County Horse Committee meeting 7:00 pm - Hilliard Bldg.
TBA MI 4-H Horse Teen Leaders Conference Kett Center.
