PARTICIPATING AGENCIES:

The Tri-County Metro Narcotics Squad is a multi-jurisdictional drug task force and has been in operation since 1968. It is one of the oldest drug task forces in Michigan.

The Metro Squad consists of officers assigned from the following agencies:

Michigan State Police

Lansing Police Department

Ingham County Sheriffs Office

Eaton County Sheriffs Office

Clinton County Sheriffs Office

The team also includes special prosecutors assigned from the following agencies:

Ingham County Prosecutor's Office

Eaton County Prosecutor's Office

The Metro Squad currently consists of 15 sworn officers, three assistant prosecutors, and two clerical assistants.

The team also works closely with the Lansing FBI Office, Lansing DEA Office, and the U.S. Customs Service.
